ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is a therapy method of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that is thousands of years old.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) views everything that exists as different manifestations of one and the same energy: heaven and earth, humans, living beings, plants, stones.

In the human body, this energy flows in small and large energy pathways called meridians. These pathways can be used to help the body restore its natural balance when needed. Treating these meridians can release blockages and support the body's self-healing abilities. I work according to the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and with the method of Master Tung.

During an acupuncture treatment, a medical history is taken at the beginning, using targeted questions to determine which acupuncture points are most suitable. The patient then lies comfortably and relaxed on the treatment table. After an inspection of the tongue and the typical pulse positions at both wrists, the needles are inserted into the corresponding points. Once this step is complete, cozy blankets and relaxing music are added, and possibly a hot water bottle or a liver compress. The needles remain in place for approximately 45 minutes.

The application recommendations for acupuncture are diverse:

Stress, menstrual problems, allergies, skin problems, susceptibility to infections, fatigue, digestive problems, energy balance before seasonal change.
At the beginning of treatment, it has proven effective to conduct several sessions at weekly intervals.

Subsequently, sessions every two weeks or every month are usually sufficient.
